Strengthening Gender-Sensitive Employment and Economic Integration Services for IDPs and Returnees in Kalynivska, Zhurivska, Baryshivska, and Pereyaslavska hromadas

The project is aimed at strengthening gender-sensitive employment and economic integration services for IDPs and returnees in Kalynivka, Zgurivka, Baryshivka and Pereiaslav communities. It responds to the current challenges faced by internally displaced women and those returning to their communities: difficulty in accessing the labor market, emotional burnout, loss of professional guidance, and limited support in the integration process.

The project aims to strengthen the institutional capacity of employment and social protection services and women’s NGOs by introducing a gender-sensitive and trauma-informed approach to the provision of employment and social support services.

A special emphasis is placed on the development of socio-emotional (soft) skills, such as self-presentation, communication, adaptability and stress resistance, as a key resource for overcoming internal barriers to economic self-sufficiency. This approach allows not only to solve employment issues, but also helps to restore the integrity of a woman’s personality in the post-crisis period.

The project also involves cross-sectoral interaction of specialists through joint trainings and roundtables to ensure an integrated approach to supporting IDPs in communities.
