Last quarter, the team of the Survivor Relief Center (SRC) in Kyiv visited communities in the occupied Chernihiv region 20 times.
The Kyiv SRC provides assistance to war victims and supports them through case management: referring them to relevant specialists, involving them in support programs, and providing comprehensive assistance to victims. It also trains community specialists to respond to cases of conflict-related sexual violence.
A particularly vulnerable category with which specialists work is people who have suffered from conflict-related sexual violence. Services include referral to rehabilitation programs and art therapy activities.
Mobile and stationary Rescuer Assistance Centers operate throughout Ukraine.

The Survivor Relief Centres were established on the initiative of the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration, with the support of the Government Commissioner for Gender Policy, in partnership with the United Nations Population Fund in Ukraine (UNFPA Ukraine), with financial support from the governments of Austria, Belgium, Spain, and Sweden, and in cooperation with local authorities.
The project in Kyiv, Dnipro, Zaporizhzhia, and Borodianka is being implemented in partnership with the NGO Association of Women Ambassadors of Ukraine.
