ECONOMIC POLICY OF UKRAINE. RECOVERY DURING THE WAR
“UKRAINE’S ECONOMIC POLICY: Recovery in Time of War”, a large-scale event organized by the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine, was attended by Olga Veselovska and Vadym Zagarii, Head and Development Director of the Association of Women Ambassadors of Ukraine, on September 16.
The event discussed the prospects for the development of Ukraine’s economy during the war and specifically in 2025.
The speakers focused on the relevance of supporting and developing small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs) in Ukraine, which account for about 99% of the country’s enterprises and generate about 51% of GDP.
The participants commented on the adopted SME Development Strategy until 2027, which pays special attention to the development of entrepreneurial competencies and support for women’s entrepreneurship.
The main messages of the event fully coincide with the mission, goals and vision of the Association of Women Ambassadors of Ukraine, which confirms the relevance of the organizational activities.

We are convinced that the synergy of ideas, strategies and vectors of activity in support of women’s economic empowerment has a powerful potential for the development of Ukraine’s economy as a whole.
