    In July 2025, as part of the project “Strengthening gender-sensitive employment and economic integration services for IDPs and returnees in the Kalynivska, Zgurivska, Baryshivska, and Pereiaslavska communities,” training was conducted for specialists from employment centers in the Kyiv region.
    The training program was aimed at developing skills in applying a gender-sensitive, inclusive, and trauma-informed approach in the field of career counseling and employment support for vulnerable populations.
    The training topics covered the following areas:
    🔹 Gender-sensitive career counseling: individualized support techniques;
    🔹 Overcoming gender barriers in access to employment — preventing discrimination, overcoming stereotypes, working with motivation, and supporting clients in difficult life circumstances;
    🔹 Inclusive HR practices — approaches that take into account the needs of different population groups and promote adaptation to the demands of today’s dynamic labor market.
    🔹 Developing soft skills — communication, emotional stability, confidence, and adaptability as an important component of career counseling and supporting clients in overcoming barriers to employment.
    Employment center specialists gained knowledge and practical tools that will help improve the quality of employment services and effectively support internally displaced persons and returnees.
    The NGO “Association of Women Ambassadors of Ukraine” expresses its sincere gratitude to all participants for their active participation, and to the Kyiv Regional Employment Center in particular for its constructive cooperation and support in conducting the training.
    📌 The project is implemented by the NGO “Association of Women Ambassadors of Ukraine” with the financial support of the Council of Europe Project “Facilitating Access to Human Rights and Basic Services for Internally Displaced Persons and Returnees in Ukraine.” The views expressed in this document are the responsibility of its authors and may not coincide with the official policy of the Council of Europe.
