Mentoring support for women and girls is one of the important activities of the Association of Women Ambassadors of Ukraine.
Within the framework of the project “GRANT OPPORTUNITIES for Starting and Strengthening Existing Businesses”, a strategic session was held for the participants, where mentors Irynaryna Nikolaeva and Olga Horban selected appropriate grant programs for each participant to support and develop their own business.
The project was created at the initiative of Nikolaeva Iryna, an expert in attracting grants and investments in small and medium-sized businesses.It is aimed at IDP women and girls who are already engaged in private entrepreneurship or are in the process of relocating or starting their own business.
To receive a grant, you need to go through several stages. For a beginner, this is not an easy task, so the support of qualified mentors is very important.
The first step is to submit an application, which must be accompanied by a business plan or financial justification for the business project. The exact criteria for submission are specified in the terms of the grant program.
The next stage is the analysis of these applications by an expert jury and the selection of winners.
At the last stage, after some time, the grant recipient must report on the spending of the allocated funds and the achievement of the set goals.
Thus, applying for a grant does not automatically mean receiving funding. It is advisable to apply for several grants at once, so that you have a better chance of winning at least one of them.
